Current democracy, political anarchy, corruption and interest are the main factors of oppression in today’s world. Freedom means we can choose, but the choice is a selection from a few options available. And these options are ingeniously hidden behind the legal and fiscal systems, the false democracy and, above all, the political interests. This illusion is well packaged and presented, like a Smiley Face balloon.
Try to see this painting as a world both realistic and metaphorical. However, you can also see a nightmarish place in which innocence and childhood are trapped. A world where logic has been abandoned in favour of madness and hatred, populated by disturbing characters obsessed with religion and the thirst for revenge. In a world “owned” by the States, the independence is intolerable!
